
John S. Koch, MD
A Louisville native, Dr. John Koch graduated first in his class from both Vanderbilt University in 1987 and the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1992. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies. John completed both residency training in Diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, graduating in 1998. He holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Koch’s areas of expertise include Vascular and Interventional Radiology with emphasis on peripheral vascular and CT interventions as well as complex biliary/hepatic interventions (including Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunts) and complex genitourinary interventions.
