Richard G. Waggener, MD
Dr. Waggener is a 1984 Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. Following election to Alpha Omega Alpha, he graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Medicine in 1988. After completing his Radiology residency at the Mayo Clinic in 1992, Rick served his country in the United States Navy for three years. He then completed a Cross Sectional Imaging fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in 1996 before joining our practice. He is a member of the American College of Radiology and several other professional organizations.
Dr. Waggener’s areas of expertise include General and Vascular Ultrasound, Body MRI/CT, and Musculoskeletal MRI/CT. Dr. Waggener serves on numerous hospital committees and is one of the three Managers of Radiology Specialists of Louisville.
